Video Game Characters Cameo Appearance in Wreck It Ralph

Yesterday, i just watched new Disney’s animation movie titled Wreck It Ralph. This movie set in the world of arcade game, where every characters in the arcade can interact each other when the games are not played by human. This interaction of course involve a lot of the characters from various video game titles. From all characters who appears, some of them are fiction character, which means that the characters were never exist before this movie released. But some of them are real characters that appear in several real video game titles. Of course, the film will be weird and boring if we don’t see some video game characters we recognized in the movie. That makes the director of the movie pick several characters from famous video games to be cameo in this film. For me, it’s really fun to see some legendary characters in the movie, because it made me reminisce with my childhood when i play those games. After i check and examine the entire movie, i finally got the list of all of  video game characters that appear in the movie. The following are all real video game characters that appear in Wreck It Ralph movie.

Ryu – Street Fighter

Ryu appears four times in the film. His first appearance is in fighting scene with Ken Master in Street Fighters II game. After that he appears again walking when Wreck It Ralph is talking with Bartender in Tapper bar. He appears again when Ralph is searching something in the box. In credit on the end of the film, he appears again in Street Fighter II bonus stage with Wreck It Ralph.

 

Ken Master – Street Fighter

He only appear in fighting scene with Ken Master in Street Fighters II game.

 

Zangief – Street Fighter

He appears during the session on support group for video game antagonists. His pants also appears again when Wreck it Ralph is searching something in the box at Tapper Bar.

 

Chun Li – Street Fighter

She appears in game center station when Sergeant Calhoun and Felix try to chase Ralph who go to Sugar Rush.

M. Bison – Street Fighter

He appears during the session on support group for video game antagonists.

 

Blanka – Street Fighter

He appears in credit on the end of the movie

 

Yuni Berth – Dance Dance Revolution

She appears during the introduction of today arcade game in the beginning of the movie.

 

Root Beer Tapper, The Bartender – Tapper

He appears and talking with Ralph at Tapper after Ralph said he would have to earn a medal.

 

Bowser – Super Mario Bros

He appears during the session on support group for video game antagonists.

 

Sonic – Sonic the Hedgehog

His first appearance is in some kind of video when Ralph enter the Game Center Station after attending video game antagonists support group. He then finally really show up in the film when Ralph accidentally ride a escape pod plane from Hero Duty’s arcade game. He then appear again when Sergeant Calhoun and Felix pass through game center station to chase Ralph who go to Sugar Rush.

 

Doctor Eggman – Sonic the Hedgehog

He appears during the session on support group for video game antagonists. He then appears again when Sergeant Calhoun and Felix pass through game center station to chase Ralph who go to Sugar Rush.

 

Kano – Mortal Kombat

He appears during the session on support group for video game antagonists. He then appears again when Sergeant Calhoun and Felix pass through game center station to chase Ralph who go to Sugar Rush.

Neff – Altered Beast

He appears during the session on support group for video game antagonists.

 

Q*bert – Q*bert

He appears in Game Center Station right after Wreck It Ralph just back from video game antagonists support group.Wreck It Ralph accidentally ran him down. He appears again in Fix-It Felix, Jr. game to inform about where Wreck It Ralph go when he missing. He also appears in credit at the end of the film.

Pac-Man – Pacman

He appear in mansion during 30th Year of Fix-It Felix, Jr. Game’s Anniversary Celebration Party. He is invited by characters in Fix-It Felix, Jr. game.

 

Clyde – Pacman

He appears during the session on support group for video game antagonists.

 

Paperboy – Paperboy

 

Dig Dug, Pooka and Fygar – Dig Dug

Fygar & Pooka appear in the Game Center Station after Wreck It Ralph just back from attending video game antagonists support group. Dig Dug then appear in Game Center station when Sergeant Calhoun and Felix chasing Ralph to Sugar Rush.

 

Cyril The Zombie – The House of The Dead

He appears during the session on support group for video game antagonists. He then appears again  in credit at the end of the movie.

 

Peter Pepper - BurgerTime

He appears 2 times in the film. His first appearance is at Tapper Bar. The second one is in Game Center Station when Sergeant Calhoun and Felix is chasing Ralph to Sugar Rush.

Frogger – Frogger

He appears jumping in Game Center Station when Sergeant Calhoun and Felix is chasing Ralph to Sugar Rush.

 

 

Handle 1 and Handle 2 – Pong

They appear in Game Center Station when Sergeant Calhoun and Felix is chasing Ralph to Sugar Rush.

 

Skrillex

He appears as the DJ at the Fix-it Felix Jr. 30th anniversary party
