Travel in China (Tianjin) : 瓷房子 Ci Fangzi (China House / Porcelain House)
Summer season is finally over. Now we enter fall season, one of the best season in China besides spring season. Right now the temperature here is about 28-29 degrees. Not too cold and not too hot. So it’s really the right time to travel arround. Today i go take a walk in Tianjin again. This time i go to 滨江道 (Binjiang Dao) area. I want to know about 瓷房子 Ci Fangzi (China Porcelain House). This house is very unique. All of the building built from vases and ceramics. From my campus, i take bus 846路 and down at 复兴门. From there i take bus 693路 and down at 山东鲁. I got lost for a while, but finally i found the Porcelain House.

The Porcelain House locates in the old French Concession, once to be a residence. Now, it renovated as a unique porcelain museum which all covers with porcelain pieces. The Porcelain House, a private museum decorated with about 400 million pieces of ancient Chinese ceramic chips and over 13,000 ancient Chinese porcelain vases, plates and bowls. It is perhaps the most strange and eye-catching house in Tianjin. The owner 张连志 Zhang Lianzhi said he spent over 20 years collecting materials (worth of 2 billion RMB) and five years completing the decoration.
After spending about 15 minutes here, i go to 滨江道 (Binjiang Dao) (it’s very near from here) to take a walk and grab some food and drink.
