Travel in China (Tianjin) : 水上公园 Shui Shang Gong Yuan (Water Amusement Park)
Today weather is not as cold a few days ago. So i think it is the right day to go for a walk. And today I return to visit the largest park in Tianjin whichis 水上 公园 Shui Shang Gong Yuan (Water Amusement Park). Actually this is my second time visiting here. Previously I’ve been here with my girlfriend, my roommate who is Korean people and two other Korean friends. This time I went with two Indonesian friend and one Russian friend. In my previous visit I spent many hours in the 天津 动物园 Tianjin Dong Wu Yuan (Tian Jin Zoo), this time i spent many hours play on some attractions in its Amusement Park.

天津水上公园 Tian Jin Shui Shang Gong Yuan (The Tianjin Water Park) is the largest urban park and recreation area in Tianjin, China. The park is one of Tianjin’s leading tourist attractions, which was officially acknowledged when it was listed in the National Tourism Administration 4A Level List of Scenic Sites in 2004. The facility is not actually a ‘waterpark’, and another name for the park is Shuishang Leyuan Amusement Park. The Tianjin Water Park formerly known as “Green Dragon Pond” (青龙潭) prior to its official establishment. Its history can be traced back first century AD. Historically, the site was known for its lush vegetion and natural ecosystems, particular in summer and autumn. The Tianjin Water Park consists of nine islands (Islands 1 – 9) and three lakes (East Lake, West Lake and South Lake). Surrounding the waterways are pathways, pagodas and gardens. The gardens showcase both Chinese and foreign architectural styles. It also said that the park changes its theme according to season, for example, during spring there is the Tulip Show, and in autumn there is the Chrysanthemum Show.
