Shopping in Singapore (Day 3) : Bugis Street, Chinatown and Little India

After played for whole day at Universal Studio Singapore yesterday, we spent our third day by window shopping at several shopping street in Singapore. In South East Asia, Singapore is well known as Paradise for Shopaholic. In Singapore there are a several famous places known as shopping paradise, which are Bugis Street, Orchad Road, China Town and Little India. Each place has different characteristic. If you want to buy branded product, i suggest you to go to Orchad Road. If you looked for mixed product you can go to Bugis Street. China Town is an area where you can find a lot of unique and antique items. Feeling a little tired having played all day at the USS Singapore, we got out from our hotel about 10:30 in the morning. Our first destination was Bugis Street. From Bencoleen Street, we only need walk about 5 minutes to arrive at Bugis Street.
Uncle Ice Cream
Before we go to Bugis Street, we passed through the Albert Street. This street is a pedestrian street where there are a lot of stand that selling goods. In the center of that place, there is an old man who selling ice cream. This man is well known as Uncle Ice Cream. The man usually is a middle age man. The price of the ice cream is very cheap. It’s only SGD $1. There are many Uncle Ice Cream you can found at Singapore. Beside Albert Street, you can also found Uncle Ice Cream at Orchad Road, China Town, etc.
