Recently I found a problem on my blogger blog. This is just a small problem but quite annoying for me. I miss the option to Add a Adsense Gadget feature in the layout screen on Blogger. Usually if we click Design and click Add a Gadget there will be 20 gadget choices on popup. But one of my blog has only 19 gadget choice (and the missing gadget is Adsense Gadget). The same thing happen when i click Monetize on Blogger menu, there only one tab shown which is Amazon Associates. All Adsense tab like Adsense Overview and Adsense For Feeds is missing.

After query some search on Google and Blogger help, i couldn’t find any answer to solve this problem. And then i tried to check my blog setting more deeply. And the problem is solved. So if you have the same problem with me, just read this guide below.

There is 3 way of possibility to solve this problem :

1. Clear browser chace

Thanks for the tips from BlogKnowHow. This tricks works for several people. I don’t know is this the bug on Blogger or not. But what you need to do is clear your chace on your browser. For Internet Explorer just go to Tools menu>Internet Options. On General tab click Delete Files… from the Temporary Internet Files section. For Mozilla Firefox just go to Tools, and click Clear Recent History. Choose Cookies and Chace and click Clear Now.

2. Language Options

Honestly this is the problem made my blogger missing Adsense feature on Blogger. Google Adsense seems doesn’t support other language beside English. One of my blog use Indonesian Language. So to solve the problem, just change the language into English again. Just go to Settings on Blogger menu and then click Formatting. Try to change the Language into English and try to add gadget again on Design Layout. The Adsense gadget will appear normally (Adsense gadget appear again) and the Adsense tab will appear normally in Monetize section.

3. Restore your original template

If 2 step above didn’t work, so the problem must be on the template. One of the reason why this problem occured is because some people modified their template code. So you can try to restore your original template, and hopefully it works.

Frankly I knew internet marketing world since I attended a preview seminar on 2004 that explains about internet marketing. I rather forget who was the speaker on that time. What i remember exactly is that time I was there with my younger brother. My younger brother was very interested following the seminar workshop even the price quite expensive that time. Since the seminar, I  never learn again about internet marketing. But, along with the continued development of a business that was built by my brother on the internet, I finally began to wonder what how to build business on the internet.

And it reached the peak after I attended three days Global Internet Summit seminar on 9 November 2009. Since then, I really really attracted to plunge more deeply about this field. What a coincidence November was my last month I worked as an employee. So I have more time to build my own business.

At the seminar one of the speaker mentioned that from a few hundred people who attend the seminar, there will be only 10% or maybe even 5% are people who will be successful in this field. I myself already familiar with this term. I read it on Financial Revolution, one of Tung Desem Waringin’s Book. Because not only in business, financial world, education world, whatever the field is had always happened that way. There will be a small number of people who will succeed while the rest are mediocre.
And from what I traced this far, it seems there is some wrong perceptions about internet marketing that makes so many people fail to build a business in this Internet world:

1. The absence of purpose and a very strong reason

Almost all the book / ebook on internet marketing that I read always give a theme of mindset in the beginning chapters. Why is this mindset so important? Yes …. because this is the most important key to be successful, not just in internet marketing, but also in all other areas. No purpose to be achieved and have no strong reason to achieve will make people do not have passion and enthusiasm to continue to learn and try again if it fails. Because of this, most people on a whim when learning about internet marketing. If you don’t get serious to work on this then the result you’ll got no result.

2. Convinced that Internet business is to get rich quick

This is the most common reason most people fail to make. Because it was human nature that wants a little work but can generate a lot of money aka LAZY !!!! So when they do not quickly generate income from the business on the internet, they are becoming lazy to continue. The point is, the Internet business is still a business, and all businesses must take time to be successful. Therefore, do not too easy believe when someone says that they can earn money easily on the internet. Most successful internet marketers who are currently able to generate money quickly once also took time and struggle while in the beginning of his career.

3. Not willing to learn and seek information from various sources

Most beginners lulled by speech or digital product ads that expose get rich quick from the internet. Without seeking further information, they immediately bought the product and be disappointed and think the Internet business is a scam. This also happened in the internet marketing seminars, such as for example GIS that I attended in November last year. At the seminar, many people who tempted in the ways described by teachers to be able to get rich quick from the internet. Because lulled by the words “TAKE ACTION” at the seminar, then buy a package from teachers at the seminar is only one  “TAKE ACTION” step that must be done. Whereas if not followed by several “TAKE ACTION” step after that, it not strange if they all fail. That is why we must examine a sort of digital products we want to buy and should have an open mind to receive information and learn from various sources. My advice, find the figure of a teacher who might be able to guide you or look for groupof  intensive study with some friends who have similar interests regarding this Internet Marketing.

4. Do not want to innovate.

Imitating indeed is one shortcut to achieve success. But to imitate and apply them exactly is a folly. When we know there someone success when build a website with a certain topic, many people in droves to create similar sites. Not only is the topic,  the article, the template, even the domain name was the same. The result? Almost all fail because there is no advantage value compared to the website that already exists.

Actually build a business on the internet is about the same as building a business in real life. When we often racked our brain to build a business in real life, so it is with the internet, just with  different way. So i can tell the Internet Business actually similar in business in real life. I will continue about my investing & trading lesson. After you understand the risk i explained in my previous post, the first thing you must learn is about the basic knowledge. Ok…. I will start with Forex. Why Forex? Because, it kinda easy to understand.

Forex Market

Forex (Foreign exchange) market is the oldest market in the world. Forex Market also known as largest market in the world. The market working 24-hours a day from monday 04:00 AM to saturday 04:00 AM (my time is GMT+7). Because of its large volume of transactions every day, forex market is the highest liquidity of all the financial market.What to trade in Forex Market?

Currency Pairs (example : EUR/USD, USD/CHF, AUD/USD, etc).

Make Money on Forex

The concept about how we make money is very easy to understand. Just imagine how you buy Dollar / Euro currency on bank / money changer. If you buy dollar when the price is low and sell it when the price is high, then you’ll make profit. If you do the opposite, then you’ll lose money. The difference between what price you bought and what you sold is your profits / losses.

There are some differences between modern to traditional forex market (money changer). I will explain more detail in my next post. But for now, what you need to know is this. One of main difference between modern and traditional forex market is how the trade you can apply. If you can only buy in traditional market, you can do both (buy / sell) in modern forex market. If you buy and the price going higher, then you’ll make profit. If you sell and the price going lower, then you’ll make profit. If the currency pair move on the opposite way, then you’ll loose money.

So if you buy EUR/USD 1.3512 its mean that you buying 1 EURO by selling 1.3512 USD

There are several Currency usually trade in the market. They are :

USD = US Dollar

EUR = Euro

GBP = Poundsterling

JPY = Japanesse Yen

CHF = Swissy (Switchterland Currency)

CAD = Canadian Dollar

etc…

- Currency Pair

Question raised by most trader when they meet other trader is asking in what currency pair they usually trade. So… what is the currency pair? Currency Pair is a pair of 2 currency that traded in forex market.

Example : EUR/USD = 1.4589, so it’s mean that 1 Euro = 1.3255 USD

In Forex, there is a term called Based Currency. Based Currency is the currency that mentioned first in currency pair. And the currency mentioned after that called Counter Currency. Example : EUR/USD, the Based Currency of this pair is EUR, and Counter Currency is USD

There are a lot of currency pair in forex market, here are some of them :

EUR/USD

GBP/USD

USD/JPY

EUR/JPY

GBP/JPY

AUD/JPY

USD/CHF

This related post is a powerful tools to make your visitor stay longer on your website. So, how to add this feature on each post of our blog? The answer is quite simple. Just use plug in. Ok… here is the installation instruction :

Installation Instructions

1. Click PlugIns on your WordPress Admin Area.
2. On Search Editbox type WordPress Related Post and click Search Plugins.
3. Install it and then activate it. This will automatically add a new table to enable fast, flexible full-text matching. If the plugin reports that there was a problem creating the table first try deactivating and reactivating the plugin.
4. Use the admin Settings|Related Posts pages to set all the available options.
