Couple days ago, i have problem with my Finder. The spotlight that i usually use to find the file in my Macbook suddenly stop working. It didn’t give any result (no result) even the file i was searching is exist on the folder. This make me a little bit frustrated, because i frequently use the spotlight to search the file in my macbook for my job. After tried several tips that i found in Google, here are the working one.

1. Open Terminal that you can find at Applications>Utilites.

2. Type the command below on your Terminal

sudo killall mds

3. And now everything is working perfectly fine. Just do Spotlight-search on the top menu of your Mac. The re-index process will be run. Wait until it completed.

4. Open your terminal again and type the command below
