This a very touching story about love and loyalty. Honestly, it’s very rare to find this kind of love recently. But i think there are still several people who have pure love like this story. Just want to share with you today. Enjoy…

From the very beginning, the girl’s family objected strongly on her dating this guy. Saying that it has got to do with family background & that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.

Due to family’s pressure, the couple quarrel very often. Though the girl love the guy deeply, but she always ask him: “How deep is your love for me?”

As the guy is not good with his words, this often cause the girl to be very upset. With that & the family’s pressure, the girl often vent her anger on him. As for him, he only endure it in silence.After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated & decided to further his studies in overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the girl: “I’m not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I’ll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?”

The girl agreed, & with the guy’s determination, the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get married. So before he leave, they got engaged.

The girl went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls. Though it’s hard, but both never thought of giving up.

One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car that lost control. When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realised that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum crying, she wanted to comfort her. But she realized that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh. She has lost her voice……

The doctors says that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents’ comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down.

During the stay in hospital, besides silence cry,…..it’s still just silence cry that companied her. Upon reaching home, everything seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the phone. Which pierced into her heart everytime it rang. She does not wish to let the guy know. & not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she does not wish to wait any longer.

With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions & millions of reply, and countless of phonecalls,. . All the girl could do, besides crying, is still crying….

The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything & be happy.

With a new environment, the girl learn sign language & started a new life. Telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy. One day, her friend came & told her that he’s back. She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn’t anymore news of him.

A year has passed & her friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for the guy’s wedding. The girl was shattered. When she open the letter, she saw her name in it instead.

When she was about to ask her friend what’s going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her. He used sign language telling her “I’ve spent a year’s time to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I’ve not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You. With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The girl finally smiled.

Today i’ll share another short story about how to Be Grateful. If you want to be happy in life, it doesn’t from your wealth, money, position, beautiful/handsome mate or anything else, but it come from what you already have in life and you satisfied with them. If you love what you have whatever it is then your life must be full with happiness everyday. Don’t see other people life.

A group of alumni of an university that has been established in their career gather and visit their old professors. The conversation soon occur and lead to complaints about stress in work and their lives. 
Want to serve and offer his guests coffee, the professor went into the kitchen and back with large cups of coffee and various types of cup from porcelain, plastic, crystal glass, ordinary glass (some of them are expensive glasses and some others very beautiful), and told the former students to pour the coffee by themself.

After all the students get a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the beautiful and expensive cups has been taken, and all there remains are only ordinary and cheap glasses. Although it’s normal for you to covet only the best for yourselves, but that’s what become the source of all problems and stress you have."

Make sure that the cup does not affect the quality of the coffee. In many cases, it’s just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What are you guys really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously took the best cups and then began to looked other people’s cup.

Now remember this : our heart is the coffee, while jobs, money and position is the cup. We frequently concentrating only on the cup, but we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided for us.

Note: Your real life is your heart. Are you feel happy and peaceful? Do you love and be loved by family, relatives and your friends? Don’t you think negative about others and don’t get mad easily? Are you patient, generous, rejoice in the truth, courteous and unselfish? Only your heart and God knows. But if you can enjoy the the coffee not the cup, these things must have more control than flamboyant things like jobs, money and your position!

Today i will share a motivational story about struggle and hard work. Sometimes as human, we feel very lazy. Because of this laziness, we often do not do things properly. We do not attempt our best effort. In the end, what we obtained only regrets in the future. This story is about a carpenter and his house. Hope it can inspire you…

An old carpenter intends to retire from his job at a construction and real estate company. He tell his wish to the company’s owners. Of course, if he don’t work anymore then he will lose his monthly income, but the decision was unanimous. He felt tired. He want to relax and enjoy the rest of his day peacefully with his wife and his family.

The owner of the company was sad to lose one of his best employee. He then pleaded to carpenter to build a house for the last time. Carpenter nodded approved the company owner’s request .
But, in fact he felt forced. He wants to stop soon. His heart was not fully expended. Reluctantly he was working on that project. But he’s just using modest materials and he finally finished the house. The result is not a good house. It was an unfortunate way to end his career with a unsatisfactory work like that.
When the owner of the company came to inspect the house which he asked, he gave a house key to the carpenter. “This is your house,” he said, “a gift from us.”
What a shock!. What a shame and remorse. If only he knows that he is actually working on a house for himself, he would build with completely another way.
Now he must live in a house that was not to well built.

That is what happened in our lives. Sometimes, many of us build a life with a confusing way. Prefer to do something perfunctory rather than striving for good. Sometimes in part of most important thing in our lives, we still does not give our best effort. At the end, we sometimes suprise to what we have done and find ourselves living in a house that we create by ourself.
If we knew from the beginning, we are going to live this life with a much different way.
Think that we are the carpenter. Think about the house we are building. Every day we hit the nail, put up signs, build a wall and roof. Let’s finish our homes as best as we can, just like if we only have one chance in a lifetime. Our future is the result of our attitudes and the choices we do today.

A woman who wear her faded dress hold her husband hand who wearing simple and shabby clothing, got off the train in Boston, and walked timidly toward the head office of Harvard University.
Upon arrival, the secretary of the University already despise them and thought that they are only village people who don’t have any business at all in Harvard and probably did not deserve to be in Cambridge.

"We want to see Head of Harvard University," the husband said softly.
"Today, he was very busy," said the Secretary fastly.
"We’ll wait," replied the woman.

During four hours the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally become discouraged and leave. But they were not. The secretary getting frustrated, and finally decided to report to the leaders.

"Maybe if you meet them for a few minutes, they’ll go," he said to the Head of Harvard University.

The head of university sighed and nodded grimly. People as important as him would not have time for them. And when he saw two people dressed in faded and threadbare clothes outside his office, his displeasure already emerged. The head of Harvard, with a stern face finally meet the couple.

The woman told him, "We have a son who studies the first year at Harvard. He loved Harvard and happy here. But a year ago, he died in an accident. We want to establish a warning for him, somewhere on this campus. may I? "he asked, with eyes that hope.
The head of Harvard is not touched, even his face reddening. He looked surprised.

"Madame," he said brusquely, "We can not build monuments to every person who entered Harvard and died. If we do that, this place would have been like a tomb. "
"Oh, no," the lady explained quickly, "We do not want to establish a memorial. We want to give a building to Harvard. "

The head of the Harvard rolled her eyes. He glanced at the faded shirt and threadbare clothes they wear and shouted, "A building! Do you know what the price of a building? You need to have more than 7.5 million dollars just for the physical building to Harvard. "

For a moment she was silent. The head of Harvard’s happy. Maybe he can be rid of them now. The woman turned to her husband and said quietly, "If only as much as it cost to start a university, why do not we make yourself?"
Her husband nodded. Head of Harvard’s face showed confusion. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford got up and walked away, traveling to Palo Alto, California, where they founded a university that bears their name, a memorial to a child who is no longer neglected by Harvard.

The university is Stanford University, one of the favorite universities in the U.S. upper class.

The moral message we can learn from the story is “dont judge by the cover”. As head of Harvard, we often dazzled by the clothes, and the outer apperance. In fact, behind the clothes, sometimes there are priceless thing we can’t imagine. So, let us not always neglect, because the clothes, often deceptive.

Today i will share another wonderful story. The point of the story is about always doing good to other people. No matter what happen, never stop doing something good and never stop helping other people. We don’t know what will happen in the future. So it’s better always doing good to everyone everyday. Ok… here are the story.

Once upon a time there is a very poor boy, feeling hungry. That boy decided to ask for food to a house he found. But the boy suddenly loses his courage, when a young woman open the door. The boy was discouraged and he don’t dare to ask for food, and he only  ask a glass of water. The woman saw the boy and thought that the boy must be hungry. That’s why the woman bring a glass of milk to him.

The boy drink the milk and after that he ask to the woman :
“How much i have to pay for a big glass of milk?”
She answer :
“You don’t need to pay a single penny at all, our mother teaches us to not accept compensation for kindness.”

The boy drink the milk until empy and say :
“Deep from my heart I say thank you for this”
Several years later, that young woman fall sick and her illness is critical. Every doctors  give up to handle her illness. They eventually sent him to bigger city, which there are some specialists doctor who can handle her rare desease.
Dr.Howard Kelly was called in to conduct the examination. When he heard the name of town where the woman’s come from, there something strange to Dr. Kelly’s eyes. Immediately he rushed down toward that woman rooms. Then he recognized the woman. He then returned to his room and decided doing all the best efforts he can do to save the woman. Starting that day, he gave the woman a very special attention.

After pass through long recovery process, finally the woman was cured.
Dr. Kelly asked hospital’s cashier staff to send the woman’s bills for approval. Dr. Kelly read the bill and write something on the corner of the bills. And afterward he send the bills to patient’s room.

The woman was very afraid to open the bills, she believe that she will not able to pay hospital bills even she has to do installment payment for a lifetime. Finally he dared to read the bill and there something interesting on the corner of the bills. She read the papers .. “It has been settled by a glass of milk”

All this time, I frequently heard some words like this. “A was succeed because he had talent,” “B since born was genius, not surprise knowing that he become successful people now,” and etc… etc.. In our daily life, I guess you were too often hear things like that. Many people assume that success, intelligence, expertise is something that is pure acquired from birth. Many of them make excuses so they do not have to try. In fact, although talent is one factor that has influence on the success of someone, but it is not the only factor. If you ever watch the movie “Forest Gump” starring Tom Hanks, you certainly know what I mean. A fool could be succeed as long there is a will. And here are some stories of great people of their era that will open our eyes. That success is not derived from talent alone, but a strong will and unyielding attitude.

1. Albert Enstein

Who doesn’t know Albert Einstein? He is theoiritical physicist, philosopher and   author who is widely regarded as one of the most influential and best known scientists and intellectuals of all time. He is famous scientist of the famous 20th century with the theory of relativity. He was also one Nobel laureate. Who would have thought he was a son of a late talking and also suffer from autism. As a child she also likes negligent with lessons. Although Einstein had early speech difficulties, he was a top student in elementary school. As he grew, Einstein built models and mechanical devices for fun and began to show a talent for mathematics

2. Thomas Alva Edison

One day, a boy aged 4 years old, somewhat deaf and dumb in school, went home to his house carrying a piece of paper from his teacher. Her mother read the paper,
“Tommy, your child, is very stupid. We ask you can get her out of school.”
His mother was shocked to read these letters, but he soon made a firm determination, “My son Tommy, not a stupid kid. I own that would educate and teach him.“
Little Tommy was Thomas Alva Edison we know today, one of the greatest inventors in the world. He only went to school about three months, and he is physically a little deaf.
Can anyone imagine the boy who was deaf dumb and be asked out of school, ultimately could become a genius? The answer is his mother! Yes, Nancy Edison, do not give up so easily with the opinion of the school for their children.

3. Aristotle Onassis

At school, he was stupid and like to seek some trouble by following the way of many rich people. Not suprised if he was expelled from several schools. He is most often ranked the lowest rank in his class.

One teacher said:
“My classmates adore him, but a teachers and their families in despair. While he was young, people can easily see that he will become one among those who would destroy himself at all or a brilliant success. Although his grade was far from good in school, his talent for business and make money has appeared since he was a chiled. Eventually he became one of top millionaire in the world.

4. Chris Gardner

Have you ever watched movie or read book Pursuit of Happyness?

That book and the movie tell the true story of Christopher Paul Gardner’s life. His story is one of my favorite story i ever read. Bitter and sweetness of life seems to have passed through by him. Homeless, abandoned wives, was arrested the police, have trouble paying loans, all of them are some of experiences he had in his life. He’s not highly educated but he continues to try and fight. Now he became a millionaire success, motivator, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is CEO of of his own stockbrokerage firm, Gardner Rich & Co., a stock brokerage firm based in Chicago, Illinois.

5. Ludwig Van Beethoven

If you know a woman who is pregnant, who already has eight children, three of them were deaf, two blind, one mentally impaired and she by herself suffering syphilis, do you will advise her to abort the pregnancy?

If you answered yes, then you’ve just killed one of the world greatest composer ever born. Because one of a child who was born by the mother is Ludwig Van Beethoven. When Beethoven was at the end of two decades, the signs of deafness began to appear, but eventually he became famous composers with works of nine symphonies, 32 piano sonatas, five piano concertos, 10 sonatas for piano and violin, a series of stunning string quartet, vocal music , music theater, and more.

6. Louis Braille

Louis Braille was damaged in one eye when she was 3 years old. At that time he accidentally stabbed his own eye with a hole-maker from his father’s work tools.

Then the other eye are affected by sympathetic ophthalmia, a type of infection that occurs because of damage of the other eye. Blindness does not make him desperate, and then he created the Braille alphabet to help blind people, so they can read. Now who does not know Braille Alphabet?

7. Abraham Lincoln

Lincoln’s story is a classic example of people who really dare to fail.
Failed in business in 1831.
Defeated in the Legislature in 1832.
Failed again in business in 1833.
Suffered a broken spirit in 1836.
Failed to win a speech contest in 1838.
Voters failed to occupy the board in 1840.
Failed elected to Congress in 1843.
Sworn in to Congress in 1846.
Failed to Congress in 1848.
Failed to become a member of the Senate in 1855.
Failed to Become President In Year 1856.
Being a member of the Senate failed in 1858.

Finally, in 1860 the American president who was sworn in as 16th president and one of the success stories in American history.

8. Bill Gates

I think there is no one in this world do not know this name?

William Henry Gates III, or better known as Bill Gates is the founder (with Paul Allen) and a general chairman of the U.S. software company, Microsoft. He was also a philanthropist through its activities in the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He occupied the first position in the world’s richest people of Forbes magazine for 13 years (1995 to 2007).

Who would ever thought he dropped out from Harvard University and ever worked as an Office Boy.

9. Mark Zuckerberg

This one has been named as the youngest millionaire in history to start his own sweat. He is an American entrepreneur best known for co-founding the popular social networking site, Facebook.

Starting from a Harvard student network site, there are many people who like it, he boldly followed his senior, Bill Gates, dropped out of Harvard to develop the site into Facebook that we know today. Did You Know? Mark has turned down an offer by Friendster to buy Facebook worth of 10 million U.S. $, bid 750 million dollars from Viacom, and the most surprising one billion dollars offer from the Yahoo.

He is currently one of the youngest billionaires in the world with personal wealth of US$4 billion in 2010

10. Ben Carson

Benjamin Carson is the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery in Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also known as the best surgery doctor in the world. You can see his story on Gifted Hand : The Ben Carson Story starring by Cuba Gooding Jr.. In his early education,  Ben experienced difficulty in school and eventually falling to the bottom of his class. Determined to turn her son’s life around, Carson’s mother limited his television-watching and refused to let him go outside to play until he had finished his homework each day. She required him to read two library books a week and to give her written reports on his reading. Carson soon amazed his instructors and classmates with his improvement. “It was at that moment that I realized I wasn’t stupid,” he recalled later. Then Ben Carson finally can reach his dream to become surgery doctor.

11. Adam Khoo

He is a Singaporean. As a child, he is a fan of games and TV. In one day, she could spend for hours in front of the TV. Both play PS or watch TV. Adam Khoo recognized as stupid kid when he was a chiled. When the fourth grade, he was expelled from school. He went into the worst primary school in Singapore. When enter junior high school, he was rejected by six of the best junior high school there. Finally, he could get into the worst school in Singapore.
Adam’s achievements in the business world is marked at the time Adam was 26 years old. He already has four businesses with a total value of turnover per year to U.S. $ 20 million. The story of Adam’s business began when he was 15 years old. He was doing business music box. The next business is business training and seminars. At the age of 22 years, Adam Khoo is a national trainer in Singapore. His clients are top managers and company managers in Singapore. The pay was U.S. $ 10,000 per hour.
