Apple’s iPad vs Amazon Kindle : Which one is better?
Apple? A name can not be underestimated for electronic products. Starting from MacBook, iMac, iPod until the iPhone, all have reached success remarkable enough. Several days ago, Steve Jobs returned to make a new breakthrough with the launch of Apple’s latest product is iPad. A tablet which is the solution between MacBook and iPhone. I myself one of a huge fan of Apple products. Therefore I am quite excited to know the news about this iPad. At first glance this iPad more like a giant iPhone I think. Apple pretty clear to reach the market target on this products. The targeted market is a market for people who are more mobile but still wants wider view than their mobile phone. MacBook not quite practical when used in a mobile. But the iPhone is not big enough to use view photos, read e-books and watching a movie. So because of that, iPad is launched. Looking at this product, I remember the Amazon Kindle which is a product launched by Amazon. The comparison between the Amazon Kindle and the Apple iPad are inevitable.
When compared which one is better? Let’s look together. Because of its size that is more similar to the Amazon Kindle DX than I would compare it with the Amazon Kindle DX

The biggest difference between Kindle and iPad is the battery life. Amazon Kindle have strong advantages to Apple iPad because Kindle offers about 1 week battery life with wireless on. It can last 2 week with wireless off. iPad only offer 10 hours of battery life if used. These two device have very different screen. Kindle only display grayscale, meanwhile iPad display a full color display like computer. The features offered by Kindle itself only for ebook reader and music player, meanwhile iPad have much better features on it. It can be used to watching video, listening music, browsing internet, watching some photos, etc. Buttons on Kindle also give an unpleasant experience. We have to push the button to read the next page, meanwhile you just click the screen on iPad. The other main weakness of Amazon Kindle is No Folders Features. It’s a big problem if you have large amount of collection of music, books and pictures
So the conclusion is which one is better? It’s depend on what for you purchase the products. Some of e-book reader fans doesn’t need to much features on the device and just need a long battery life maybe more comfortable with Amazon Kindle DX than Apple iPad. But if you need another experience than just reading ebooks, I think iPad is more suitable for you.

I’ve enjoyed Apple for sometime, they produce products that is visually beautiful while working like a charm. Alot of companies aren’t like that, it’s usually one or the other. Businesses don’t usually take aesthetics seriously like Apple. With me stating that I’ve got to say that I’m very excited about the new Tablet. One thing I question though, is it too soon? I think that this may be ahead of its time. What do you think?
yes. i am on of big fans of apple products too. i don’t think that it’s too soon. i have expected this kind of product very long ago. i still consider to buy amazon kindle, apple ipad or sony e-book reader. honestly apple ipad is one of my favourite. but not long battery life and some weakness like no usb port, no multitasking, no flash support are some factor i still consider.
