5 Things you Must Avoid to Survive from Google Panda Algorithm

This last 2 year is crucial moment for internet marketer who use the Google as main traffic source of their website. Why i can said that? Yes, various updates from Google, Google Panda began to wipe a lot of website. Several banned, deindexed and drastic drop on traffic are the effect given by Google update. Not a few websites that already have dozen thousands of visitors suddenly dropped become zero. I myself have several websites that got hit by recent Google Panda update. Fortunately, websites who got hit do not give too much earning for me.

Google Panda seem change a little bit SEO paradigm that have been implemented by many internet marketers for years. Many SEO techniques that used to be very effective is now no longer so influential in raising rank your website. The new algorithm update even punish websites that implemented excessive SEO. Google has penalized thousand of website this years. Penalties can be reduction in rank or deindex from Search Engine. Because of these changes, I was trying to do some testing to see how far Google changes their algorithm. And my conclusion is what Google really like is Fresh Content (Original Content) and Quality Websites. It was officially written in Google Webmaster Central on More Guidance on Building High Quality Sites article.

Let us refer to the statement Michael Wyszomierski (Project Manager at Google) :

Improve it or remove it. With Google’s Panda Update, low-quality content can impact an entire domain, but removing these pages — or moving them to a different domain — can help your rankings

So to survive from Google Panda, you must pay attention to what SEO technique you use for your website. If you are SEO Black Hatters, please stop it right now. Even White Hat SEO websites sometimes got hit by Google Panda. There are several SEO method that Google consider as unnatural SEO technique.
Below I will share several points you MUST avoid to survive from Google Panda Algorithm :

  1. Server Down
When Google Robot is visiting your blog and your blog server is down, it is certain that your blog value will degraded by google and you will lose a lot high rank posting in SERP.

Solution : Use reliable and trusted Web Hosting

  2. Duplicate Content
If you like to copy and paste other people’s blog content, from now please stop that activity. Because it make your website recognized as low quality website in front of Google. Google love fresh and unique content. New Google Algorithm even can detect spun article.

Solution : Create unique article for your Blog. You can pick ideas from other people’s blog, but rewrite it completely so it will be different content.

  3. Buy and Sell Link
One of SEO technique to get instant backlink from high pagerank blog by purchase link from them. Do not buy link from these kind of services. It is very risky.

Solution : Create interesting article so people will link to your blog naturally. If you interest to buy link from a blog, it is better if you contact the blog admin directly to buy the link manually.

  4. Uncloaked Affiliate Links
Why Google hate affiliate link? Google seems prefer non profit website than commercial website. Several of my website that contain a lot of affiliate link has been degraded by Google. The traffic suddenly drop more than 50% since Google Panda Update one month ago.

Solution : Create unique and quality article for your affiliate website. Give some information that other websites didn’t have.

  5. Link to Spam Blog or Blog that contain Adult Material Content
Pay attention to comments on your dofollow blog. If they link to spam blog or blog that contain adult material content, it can impact to your website value.

Solution : Delete all comment that link to spam blog or blog that contain adult material content.

I have been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
